Diego and the Quibungo

Synopsis

Diego went to visit Grandpa Arthur in Salvador.

In just a few days he discovered everything:
a bamboo tunnel that once hid planes during the war,
a lagoon with black water and white sand,
and a wise woman who already knew
he was coming before she opened the door.

But the greatest discovery was in the forest —
an enormous creature everyone called a monster.

Diego was the first to ask
why it was scared.
